Frozen Beauty

Lolling rolling hills of wine
Roll it on the tongue sublime
Acorn shells, forget-me-nots
Tied up in a lovers’ knot

Dried up creeks, autumn leaves
Hades laughs, Persephone grieves

Beauty in a sky of white
Luminescent golden light

Eternity frozen in a pond
Contemplating life beyond
Weeping trees, chirping sparrows
Creeping leaping vines of sorrow

Tomorrow, today, night falls soon
Softly caressing the afternoon

The past; a whisper, a fallen branch
Overgrown moss, taking a chance
To sink below with frogs and fish
A wish of a day… gone in a swish.

Thats some strong poetry, it reminds me Victorian cast iron. (if that makes sense) Guy :^)

Hmm... Victorian cast iron... you care to expand on that thought, Guy?

Wonderful . . . Can you please tell me how to get to this world . . .

: )

Welcome back, BTW. It's been worth the wait.

Thank you AP... when will you come back?

To get to this world: turn right at the most southern cloud and left over the rainbow... good luck!

I like the way this just rolls off the tongue. It's fun to read, fun to say, and fun to think about . . . .

Typical you.
